Terms of Use
Savoria — Last updated: July 7, 2026
1. Purpose and acceptance
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern the use of the Android application Savoria ("the app", "the service"), published by JEYLAB, a French limited liability company (SARL) with share capital of €1,000, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 943 632 588, with its registered office at 6 rue Émile Dubois, 75014 Paris ("the publisher", "we"). Full legal information is available in the legal notice. By creating an account or using the app, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
2. Service description
Savoria is an AI-assisted recipe management app: recipe import and structuring, culinary chat assistant, step-by-step cooking mode, smart shopping list, food finds, image generation, and sharing with other users.
The service is currently provided free of charge. The publisher reserves the right to evolve features, introduce paid offers, or discontinue the service, with reasonable prior notice in the app.
3. User account
Using Savoria requires signing in with a Google account and is restricted to persons aged 15 or over. You are responsible for keeping access to your device and account secure. You can delete your account at any time (Settings → Account), which permanently erases your data — see the Privacy Policy.
4. AI-generated content
The "AI Chef" features, recipe import, contextual assistants and image generation rely on third-party artificial intelligence models (Google Gemini / Vertex AI). As a consequence:
- Generated content (recipes, advice, quantities, cooking times and temperatures, categorizations, images) is produced automatically, without human review.
- It may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or wrong, including in non-obvious ways ("hallucinations").
- It is provided for informational, culinary purposes only: it does not constitute medical, nutritional, dietary or health advice of any kind.
- AI-generated images are illustrations: they do not faithfully depict the actual dish.
⚠️ Food safety — your responsibility. Before preparing or eating any recipe, you must always verify for yourself:
- the presence of allergens with respect to your allergies and intolerances and those of your guests;
- cooking temperatures and times, in particular for meat, poultry, fish, eggs and seafood;
- storage and hygiene rules (cold chain, sterilization, fermentation…);
- the suitability of the recipe for your particular situation (pregnancy, young children, weakened immune system, medical diet…).
When in doubt, refer to official food-safety guidance or consult a professional.
A reporting mechanism is built in: long-press an AI response → "Report this response". Reports are reviewed and help improve the service.
5. Your content
You remain the owner of the content you create or import (recipes, notes, lists, addresses, photos). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to host, reproduce and process this content for the sole purpose of providing the service (storage, synchronization, sharing you initiate, AI processing at your request).
You are responsible for the content you import and share. Importing recipes from third-party websites is intended for personal, private use; complying with any third-party rights over that content is your responsibility.
6. Acceptable use and quotas
It is forbidden to:
- use the service for illegal purposes or to generate unlawful, hateful or dangerous content;
- attempt to bypass security, quota or moderation mechanisms, access systems without authorization, or call our server interfaces outside of the app;
- disrupt the service (deliberate overload, abusive automation, bots).
AI features are subject to fair-use quotas (per minute, per day, per month), which may evolve. In case of violation of these Terms or manifest abuse, the publisher may restrict, suspend or terminate access to the service, temporarily or permanently, with notice except in urgent cases.
7. Sharing between users
Sharing works through a personal code and an approval mechanism: you control who accesses your collections and with which rights, and you can revoke access at any time. You are responsible for the content you share and for choosing the people you grant access to.
8. Availability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". The publisher strives for continuous operation but does not guarantee the absence of interruptions, errors or data loss; the service furthermore depends on third-party services (Google Firebase, Gemini API) whose availability is outside its control. Consider using the local backup export (Settings → Maintenance).
9. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits the publisher's liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct, for personal injury caused by its proven fault, or in any other case where such limitation is prohibited by law. Your mandatory rights under applicable consumer law are preserved.
Subject to the above: the publisher shall not be liable for indirect damages, nor for the consequences of (i) using AI-generated content without the verifications described in section 4, (ii) content imported or shared by users, (iii) unavailability of third-party services. For the service provided free of charge, the publisher's total liability is in any event limited to direct and foreseeable damage.
10. Intellectual property
The app, its brand, design and code remain the exclusive property of the publisher. These Terms grant you no rights over them, other than a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app for its intended purpose.
11. Personal data
The processing of your data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
12. Changes to these Terms
The publisher may modify these Terms. Any material change will be announced in the app with reasonable notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance; otherwise, you may stop using the service and delete your account.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first: contact us at the address below. In accordance with the French Consumer Code, you may use a consumer mediator free of charge; the competent mediator's details will be provided on request and published here once paid offers are introduced. Failing amicable resolution, the French courts shall have jurisdiction under ordinary law rules.
